Thanks bro! Yeah the colours are very refreshing lol. I didnt like it in the beginning then slowly fell in love with in. The main turning point was the symbol when the illuminator was turned on...that was the moment I had to have it lol.Originally posted by johnfish View PostWoow ! Limited edition Mudman " Very unique

Been viewing & reviewing this thread a couple of times... had to take my anti-poison pill 3x a day after that!
OT: Does anyone here have a 'tough solar' model? Any problems with its battery life? Thinking very hard about getting one...

i have a 30 anniversary mudman and it works fine. battery lvl only dips to medium if i have the auto-illuminator function on. charges very quickly nowadays thanks to the scorching hot weather.

My tough solars still very new So I am not sure, but I did read up some other forums, the users of tough solar models are quite happy with the batt lifespan. It seems to chug along well if the watches are charged up properly.Check out my Amateur Watch Blog @ http://parte-di-tempo.blogspot.sg/

WRT my post... I've read elsewhere that the rechargeable batt go dead when kept in the box for a long time. But the user didnt say if he had put the watch to power saving mode or not leh.
Also read that the electronic compass in some models suck more batt-juice, is this true?
Once again, TS, I do apologise for this OT. Perhaps, we shd start another thread.
cheers!Visit the DIY Section of Singapore Rolex Club for interesting articles.

No worries on the OT, I am ok with it. Oh I remember reading on wus forum that the first few batches had a faulty rechargeable batt that went dead after a short while. IIRC it happened during early 2000 year that period. After which the batt tech improved and now it is supposed to be very reliable. So far did not read on that forum on owners having problems with their batt.Originally posted by ten10 View PostWRT my post... As for those that have electronic compass, I think one of the models is the Mudman, so far so good. And my solar g shocks have power saving set to on in default. So far so good though.Check out my Amateur Watch Blog @ http://parte-di-tempo.blogspot.sg/
