I understand and seen these models have poor night visibility.
I guess its something to do with the position of the surface-mount LEDs.
In the GA100 models, the hour hand seems to "dissappear" at night even when the LED is on.Visit the DIY Section of Singapore Rolex Club for interesting articles.
