I've watched prices for the Hulk go up several times over the last couple of years.
Nov 2014 I purchased one for MYR27.8k.
Mar 2015 I sold the same Hulk for MYR31k.
Jun 2016 I re-purchased the Hulk after a year of simmering with regret for MYR35k.
Last I checked, Feb 2017 prices in KL is asking between MYR38-39k.

Could that be due to the weakening of the RM ?Originally posted by r3kahsttub View PostI've watched prices for the Hulk go up several times over the last couple of years.

I had the same thought when it first came out 4-5 years ago... but it has not been so after so longOriginally posted by Eight8 View PostHulk could be just a passing trend..... Might not be popular after a while

The recent price increase in Jan 2017 was definitely from weakening RM. The bad news is, we have not yet had to deal with the annual price increase, and I shudder to imagine Rolex prices overall.Originally posted by engjoo View PostCould that be due to the weakening of the RM ?
While I agree that Hulk may be a passing trend, I purchased the watch for a second time because I really liked that it was different. I have zero thoughts of selling the piece ever- made that mistake once and will never go there again :-)
For me, the Submariner is the perfect sports watch- suitable for every day wearing and can sit comfortably under a suit as well. Hulks are certainly not difficult to come across, but for me, they provided that little bit of extra pop that I am looking for.
As they say, what is a thread without pics. Right?

Everyone has their own view of this model. Was unique when it first came out but now looks outdated & would prefer to spend money on other RolexesOriginally posted by Oceanklassik View PostI had the same thought when it first came out 4-5 years ago... but it has not been so after so long

Today, I tendered my resignation. To celebrate, I ticked the BLNR off my list of wants. In truth, I'd ordered the watch whilst I was still negotiating my offer. Got the call to seal the deal this morning, and the watch arrived at noon. Perfect!
I think I started my week off right
