the gold one is lovelier! silver one too common and not as attractive. I like your idea of having a strap on the gold one so as to attract lesser attention and preserve the beautiful gold bracelet.

You can pretty much do whatever you want to your own watch, as long as you revert to it's original parts when you bring it in to Rolex for servicing. I'm new here too, so correct me if I'm wrong!
