... the factors are not the same.
Even for these two models, the answer is "it depends" on which reference model number i.e. for GMT-1, its 6542, 1675, 16750, 16700 ... and that's not including the gold and jewelled models.
For GMT-2, there's 16710, 16760, 116710 ... and again not including the jewelled or gold models.
But suffice to say, market prices are all quite competitive relative to the demand... so it won't vary too far.
The GMT-2 has the feature where the hour hand is decoupled so can be advanced to change time zones easily or date... and that makes it a better user generally.
Right now I think the best buy functionally is the GMT-2 16710 models .. esp those 5-10 years old, which can be had for $4-4.5k in some places.

no worries. different outlets within HG group are entitled to sell @ the price they prefer. there are many reasons for this. that is probably one of the reasons why i prefer to go usual AD.Originally posted by deanlim View Posti did went to HG lucky plaza, after visiting THH, still the same quote of $11K, the sales guys say everywhere selling this price....

I think the one I know ofOriginally posted by deanlim View Poststill on the look out on which AD gives the best quotes....

actual transaction is at THH $10.5.....
There are other prices in this forum but I dun know are they
1) From Singapore
2) Hearsay
I personally got it more than 2 months ago for higher than $10.5.
It is a "how long you wanna wait" vs "price" game, I feel....

Good decision....currently no other rolex looks better than this one, IMOOriginally posted by deanlim View Postactually thought of getting the new submariner (no date), which certified chronometer, later got to about the new gmt II & seen it personally....
hence drop the idea on the submariner & start saving up for GMT II
