Got it @ $2800 from a pre-owned watch dealer but this guy operates without a shop. That was the only piece he had so I think no point in giving you his contacts.

You may try your luck looking out websites of the local pre-owned watch dealers (expect to pay more though). This pre-tiger version is harder to come by as it was discontinued before the tiger version. Personally I do not play golf and do not feel connected with mr. tiger until he did what he did lately...haha

Is it a 79260? With the Rolex crown?
If it is, you got it at a real good price!
Not easy to find one nowadys!

          Enjoy!

I wish it's the rolex signed crown & case version but as you implied it's not possible with that price.

And I think you are referring to 79180 as 79260 has a black bezel.

Mine is the 79280 with tudor signed crown & case (still the ever reliable oyster case ). This is the true pre-tiger version although some refer the 79180 as the pre-tiger version probably due to the short period 79280 was being sold and/or its similarity with 79280.

The tiger version 79380 is the latest of the lots before tudor totally discarded the rolex design in their product portfolio.

Price wise the older versions are the more rare and hence more expensive ones but all are great everyday watches with the 7750 movement! Being collectible is of course always a plus point
