    Repair work outsourced?

I was informed by a AD friend that RSC outsource some aspects of their repair work as they cannot cope eg bracelet polishing. I don't know whether some insiders can shed some light on this.

looks like need to inspect very carefully first

Just wondering, with such service standards, how can we trust that they maintain our watches for a lifetime or even pass on as keepsakes?

Rolex is a good brand, with classic designs and outstanding in-house movements.

It is a real pity that the after sales service standard cannot keep up with the heritage the brand had built upon at all.

Thanks guy. Fly back yesterday and head off to RSC to change the bracelet back. All I get from the RSC people is we are sorry and a cup of coffee. That's all. Waste my time and effort. Just wondering is it worth to actually collect Rolex now given that the service is so bad.

Sad to say Singapore service sectors has not improved(no sense of responsibility) and its getting from bad to worst IMO. To make matter worst off, many of the front line service staff are foreigner workers and seem like they have not gone thru proper training.

I also agree that RSC service standard has totally dropped. My Brand New SD also got many circular scratch on the back when I send it for check, so disappointed when they dont even bother to paste a protective sticker before they use equipment to open the back case.

Worst still he even removed one of my side protective sticker without my consent, later I ask him to fix back when I discover it but not the scratch
    because of insufficient lighting condition.

Also, i believe cut them some slack as you only asked them to check the glass and they probably just did that. If you asked them to check the whole watch, that might not have happened.... but i understand.... more time wasted thats all..

sorry for saying this but i think we've been allowing them to slack too much liao... like me, handled them a 100% swee swee watch to authenticate but after their handling, came back with hairlines on bracelet and side case.... could have made them polish that out but i will only lose material off my otherwise new watch..........

how i wish some "service star superman" can come and knock some sense into them....

in the meantime... i'm only bringing my watch there only if theres nowhere else to go.... then when there... just pray and pray.....
