  • Is this watch considered a Rolex?

This steel 3 piece hinged watch , made in the early nineteen twenties , has a Rolex Movement, but no Rolex logo on the ceramic dial. It is a transition watch bewteen pocket and wrist watch era. Will show Rolex movement next.

Hmmmm, does the movement look a little too clean since it's a vintage watch? I was "conned" before on ebay when i bought a vintage GP. Bought it to a trusted uncle he said movement is fake, most probably benrus mod and dial has been painted.

I have my doubts on this...

Bought these two watches 16 years ago in Australia , Hence Dunklings Rolex , as it was not uncommon to have the retailers' names
on the dial as well as the movement as well.(Ref: Timeless Elegance-Rolex by George Gordon). Dunklings was a major retailer in Australia in those days and it is still in business today.
