the sub-seconds dial on my PAM104 also has the radial patterns which I can hardly see with my naked eyes as well.

When I used to wear Pam , it doesn't fit under the sleeve well.
Always a danger when opening doors.

For Rolex with alu or ceramic bezel, so far no visible mark after a few encounters.

For plain bezels like Pam , explorer, one hit one mark.

Wish list : fit Daytona with a ceramic bezel. Metal like titanium ceramic.
