I just wanna know. Who copy who? Not interested to know if ten10 copy from other brands or what. That will be another thread, another discussion. Did ten10 copy watch_r and Louie or watch_r and Louie copy ten10 design? Be it for own use or for commercial gains does not justify the facts that it is copying. The designs r so similar. Unless u tell me all of them have similar taste? This is serious integrity issue.

This was never meant for sale, as I had emphasized again, only 2 were produced, due to my friend not wanting to keep it, thus was up for sale.
TS ain't the submarine on your box look familiar, opsss that was from Panerai, did they even know this, that u are using their logo for your own product.

well from the look of the box , exterior with a sub (seems to link to panerai no matter how u look at it wonder if time and effort creating an image to link to panerai is hurt) , front plate bearing florriglia x mas (italian commado unit which panerai build some huge ass watches for and still links to panerai no matter how u look at it , wonder if the time and effort creating a specialist force to bear the logo was hurt), interior with 8 watch slots 7 chambers for straps and 2 chambers for tools (apart from holding afew more straps and watches it looks like its meant for panerais , wonder if they are hurt for the time and effort making a watch box to hold their brand). and in case if u haven notice , everything screams panerai . wonder if anyone notice all these and calls PANERAI the originator to comment who's right ?

ask apple, rolex and LV - they'd tell you the originator is always right and the copycat is always wrong

To the TS, I know you started blog on DIY and start criticize/revealed how No good other watch winder are.
My friend (not Bro Louise) who had factory manufacture furniture, so together we had decided to manufacture this box just to see what is the cost here, and to our surprise this was a whopping profit margin almost a 400% can anyone imagine here, even Rolex/Panerai watches does not have this kind of profit margin. There is no wonder why u dont have a proper job and full time doing this, where people like us have to suffer with bosses just to earn few Ks a month. I admit the process of making the box is long, but actual manhour on it is only about a day, you can earn 300$ in a day, why do you still need a job for?
You should have give friendly price to the Bro here, instead you're using the trust that community have in you, to mark up the price sky high. Even famous box marker Rainer don't sell so expensive.

We only made 2 boxes, one for me and one for him, he decided not to use the box, thus me posting up for sale, this was never meant to be mass production for sale but we might consider doing it since the profit is damn good, but rest assure it will not be 400% profit.

In such situation I think it is better to just talk facts.

"a whopping profit margin almost a 400%" is not fact, as you don't know for sure what kind/grade of materials have been used and the cost paid by TS.

"actual manhour on it is only about a day" is not a fact but just your assumption.

"you can earn 300$ in a day" is not a fact, due to the above mentioned. This statement may also mislead others to think that TS make $300 everyday, which is not a fact. And what about the time spent in R&D/designing of his products?

Even if the profit is very high, who is to determine if it is overly priced or sky high? The answer is, the consumers themselves. To say that ten10 "uses the trust that community have in him to mark up the price sky high" is, in my opinion, an insult to the wisdom of people like me who buy from him.

I fully understand your anger, if what you claim about why the boxes are made is truth, but I think you have over-reacted. I believe the community here would like to see a amicable settlement to this issue.

I'm sure one of the main objectives of the forum is to provide good services products for members here.
There are tons of boxes with much cheaper price in eBay, and you might find one similar to yours and you could be the copy cat of that design, only main coSt component is the shipping due to weight of the box, this is beyond control of the oversea seller.
But here seller has the control, but he choose to price it to include the shipping cost if brought from oversea.

reference to this thread (after looking @ other sales threads) which you have withdrawn, i would take it that the interior is what thread starter is referring to.

the words used is similar design and i have to agree that apart from some changes here and there, it is almost looks the same in terms of concept. i also noticed that some members have asked questions with regards to the boxes which you may have politely chose to ignore answer them. since you can post pictures in this forum, why not post interior as well since you know how to upload in the first place? is there any reasons why it cannot be loaded @ the same time or perhaps later when members ask questions?

you mention that your friend has a furniture manufacturer which means these boxes can be manufacture in large scale @ low cost. as far as i know, the boxes made by ten10 are of limited numbers. if he can make profit of 400 from 1 box, and as a furniture manufacturer, of course you have the equipment and material (assuming that both you and ten10 use the same type of wood and material) to make them @ even lower cost which will definitely means more than 400 profit.

another point i like to know is that how do you know that ten10 makes 400 from 1 box? are you aware of the type of wood used? the type of material used for interior? i am not a carpenter by trade, so i cannot comment so much but i do know that there are different grades of wood used.

remember that you state in the thread you made 10 of these boxes for sale. not just 2 only.

Firstly, a seller posted the thread here

This seller didnt show any additional fotos of the interior. So someone helped me request some fotos from seller and I have it with me. I noticed how the seller 'hides' the top cover and reveals only portions of the interior. I can still see my copied design there. (I will upload it in my next post.)

Then I received a PM from another nick that says he/she wants me to listen to the explaination...so I'm graciously waiting for this.

Questions:-
a) Are these two nicks related? Clones?
b) Why do they want to sell a copied product...especially in the same forum?
c) Why doesnt he provide full fotos of the product he's selling in that post?

I have many more questions that I wish to confront him/her with...but for now, this would suffice.

who is this "guy" that admitted your design is good?? I just unfriended at least 50 fb friends today because of this thread! I felt my privacy was compromised again. I truly apologetic to those whom i unfriended for nothing they never done but i felt insecure with my personal info been discussed and my friend's photo been posted here in a public forum.

Was it a copied design, no not in my opinion. There are too many differences between this 2 boxes. What are similar are the strap holder straps and the pocket. If this is an intended replication than i say the factory done a horrible job. My friends here and fb know those watches in the photo not mine, so as the box. It was just a photo taken by my friend and i shared it on my fb with my friends, and now it is showing up here openly and I'm maligned for a "copy cat"?

Like i pmed you last night, you could have contacted me via pm in question of your box design been replicated and put on sale but you didn't. You know who this photo belong to, but you did not contact me. Instead you choose to start a thread here and posted my photo.

I bet you remembered and know me but why start a thread like this? Publicity?? or another way of marketing your product?

My advice to you as a member here, don't be afraid of competitors most businesses have competitors. If i have all the luxury time here i would rather spend it building rapport with the clients in your signature. Fyi, some of the clients in your signature they are my clients too.
