Show Me Your Portable Reliable Travel Storage Casing...
Previously I have been using this for traveling and storage purpose...cheap at SGD$15 only... Good for 2 watches...

Then I changed to these... (you need to do the cutting of your slots on the pick n pluck foam) cause my Rolex with bracelet is difficult to store in a lying down position...
Plus you get toughness and watertight...
As it is transparent, I also uses it as a table clocks (while they are still moving) and also as cupboard deco where I can view my beautiful pieces...

find the pelican style case sturdy and can withstand hard knocks. however it is bulky.
i use oakley ones and put it in my carry on luggage.

I find the micro series are ok...not to bulky as the 1000s series, the ones with handle...that, even the smallest size is too big for my liking...Originally posted by triton View Post

Though now I rarely bring out the crumpler and my other watches as I either have the diaper bag to carry or the ergo carrier on me.

with reference to Ryuden pelican case style,
advantage - sturdy, can store multiple watches
disadvantage - need to get foam and cut to size
with reference to oakley single watch vault (large)
advantage - portable, light
disadvantage - single watch only, protection not as good as pelican style
with reference to Ryuden leather case pouch
advantage - multiple watches, protection better than oakley watch vault but not as good as pelican case style, can customize
disadvantage - bulky than oakley watch but not as bulky as pelican case style, usually limited to 2 watches, need to customize to accommodate
as for recommendation, there are many other different considerations, you can check out the straps, bracelets watch tools and accessories sections. it comes down to
- how many watches you want to carry
- need to change straps/bracelets which means need to find one that can allow you to fit tool and extra straps
- hand carry bag space
