Need advise on this AUDEMARS PIGUET MEN ROYAL OAK YELLOW GOLD watch , Dial size is 36mm , With no B&P not even extra link , but my wrist can fit . Went down today to look at the actual watch , condition i shall say around 8/10 . After Neg; price is 12k nett .
What do you guys think ?
Need some urgent advise from you guys , Wanted to get a AP Roo Rubber clad , but after i saw this got 2nd thoughts on the ROO , IMO , this is better value for money , But no B&P abit "Sian" ,
Anyone know how much local AD selling this after discount ?

AP - ROO
rolex - magnifying glass
JLC - reverso, alarm
PAM - the locking mechanism

the list go on.

so i would not even ask you to consider this piece. however, should you want to buy, wont 36mm be a tad too small?

unless u buying for wife, then is not too bad.

my opinion is dun get this. AP's 36mm resale value is really bad and it's with old movement (jumbo is better choice if you like their classic RO range). I used to own the SS 36mm and i sold it for peanuts years ago.

Years ago, i had a AP Quatz watch with full Yellow Gold and Diamonds , Bought for close to 50k cash back in 97 , with reciept, boxes and papers full set , I sold it for 8k even though the condition of the watch is in tip top .
For very long , I Don't dare to buy other watch except rolex , now backside itchy agian
BTW Personally felt its quite value for money , if you want bling bling and alry own a Rolex DD , maybe can consider something diffirent,This is exactly what i'm facing now

Looking for WG prefer bracelet than leather or rubber straps , the more bling the better that type ,best is got diamonds ,
Though maybe only get to wear it like once or twice a year , budget 20K+- ,must got resale value , other than WG DD and daytona WG no other watch come to my mind liao, Like the WG Daytona but no date , got a few watch without date alry, not too used to it .

I would pass. I am not a AP fan,but this AP doesn't appeal to me as compared to the ROO with the rubber clad.

Yes it's gold I know,but for a solid gold model,I could get another YG Rolex too! Or maybe top abit more and get a WG.

With a 42k loss from a solid gold & diamonds AP....still want to buy ah Who you sold to? Never sell to me Aiyoh...

Ok...my fav topic again...

For WG,yeah I do agree, either the WG DD or Daytona WG. In the market...easy to find WG DD with diamond dial and diamonds and any corner of the Rolex u want. Daytona would be pretty limited in the market though.

Since you cited that you would wear once or twice a year. You do not really need the date function. But don't get the leather strap thats for sure.

IF you decide to wear everyday...or say...frequently. WG DD would be the perfect balance...you can wear to office,and for events. Works great for both!
