My wrist is not very big at about seven and half inches but I still can't accept anything smaller than 40mm. That's why when I bought a Rolex, I chose DJ 2 with diamonds at 41mm which is just nice for a dress watch. Personally I like sport watches at 43mm.

My wrist is not very big too but dunno why wear 36mm just feels so small. Min will be 40. Wanted to get a Daytona but felt it was small too when I tried it on.

Does it seem weird if i downsize from a 41mm divers watch to a 34mm bauhaus style watch

Because my wrist is rather small, but the 41mm fits right, however i wish to make my wrist / forearm look bigger, hence the downsizing.

                          What u guys think?

I think 40mm is the sweet spot for most average size Asian. My watches are 40mm to 42mm. Any bigger, you would be wearing a clock on your wrist.

No, not weird at all. Personally, I would need both dress watch, 2 or 3 hander, 34-38mm, with about < 10 mm thickness, and I would need sports watch with what you have now with 41 mm.

Consider Nomos linups. They are good.
                              The Lannisters send their regards.

have a 42mm pelagos but at the same time a 36mm datejust. actually prefer the datejust size and currently using it daily except when travelling.
