    I would also say thay size is important. I am quite fat. So 40mm looks small on my wrist. Previously was slimmer 40mm actually suited just nice. So i would say size and gender. My wife tried a 38mm watch. Looked huge on her slender wrist. So yes. Had to do a 36mm..
    i gave her my daytona rose gold. Looked too huge

    I used to wear 36 mm watches but I've preferred 42-44 mm since 9-11 years ago.

    I enjoy wearing 38mm watches....used to find the 44mm Panerai and Corums a bit too massive for my tastes.

    no more 38mm, entry size is 40mm minimum, up to 45mm

    Small watches are passe. Small watches look weird :-/. Having said that, watches bigger than 45mm is way too big for Asian wrists
