That was in the mid90s and had other stuff which I wanted to do instead of clocking major hours at the range. So I miaed. Don't think I can handle a bow and arrow much now . I was using a Hoyt (not sure if I spelt it right) recurve bow.

I was a Recurve shooter which the archery club of singapore,kinda pulled out when I was being hinted to shoot for the nationals.

why pull out?It's a glory to shoot the national.I mean shoot for the national.

archery quite fun but dunno how to aim properly.

only came into contact with it twice.

Once when I was in kindergarden. bought my bow and arrow from the mama shop downstairs to play red indians!!

The next time was at nottingham forest robbing the rich to give to the poor with my green uniform. Now added the GMTIIc with green hand also keke..jking....the 2nd time was at bintan....


dunno counted anot.....

as long as shoot before bow & arrow counted liao lo. Hehe.

Used to shoot compound competitively but now my bow collecting dust haha, its a lovely blue Merlin thats pretty rare you might've seen me before!

Gonna drag out my bow soon, indoor competition coming in 2 weeks must chiong haha

Tried once at the defunct Safra Alexandra a few years back.

Not easy. Once I pulled many times, my upper arms start to feel the great strain.

I think I am weak.

No la see how many pounds bow u pulling.Any also maybe the 1 you're pulling is recurve bow not compound bow leh.Hehe.Anyway it's fun after you got the kick.

but u lose the fun of it wor.This is the only exercise using not much strength & energy and in the same time can sun tan.Hehe

archery? iirc, this sport was very popular when I was doing my NS. unfortunately, i nvr did much shooting but to survive, i became very good in evading the arrows that came my way...
