More khakis from neighbouring countries selling watches here?

Just wondering if you seen more sales thread in recent times from our neighbours?

SGD has strengthened considerably vs neighbouring currencies..

Be it private owners or dealers, selling watches here could minimize depreciation/maximise profits ya?

Few qns..
1. Will local service centre honour warranty stamped by overseas dealers?
2. Will you strictly authenticate rolex with RSC?
3. Will you buy?

1. as long as it is original, RSC will honor warranty cards/papers stamped by overseas dealers
2. i ALWAYS authenticate rolex with RSC and/or MY trusted watch technician(s) regardless if seller is local or overseas especially if the warranty cards/papers are stamped by overseas dealers whom i may/may not know. for a ~10k bnib watch, rather spend 107 for a peace of mind.
3. i will buy
   • if the price listed is within my expected price range
   • if the condition of watch matches the price and my expectation
   • if the watch comes with warranty card/papers

1. as long as its international warranty, the local service centre will honour it.
2. yeah unless you know another third party guy to verify for you.
3. if price is right, why not.

Im also curious whether anyone seen khakis selling Rolex from Malaysia currently here or bought from 2nd shops in Malaysia. Since their currency has been depreciating against sgd, I wonder did they adjust accordingly.
