4. Cost
5. Design - single-breasted 2 or 3 buttons, double-breasted, middle split or double-side splits behind, ...etc

Go Rossi at millenia walk and look for Daniel, he will recommend you by finding out your event, how conservative or adventeous you are and tailor your suit. A bit exp but I would say good service and good quality and your percieved value

you can try reading up The Rake..it's a magazine specialized in men's elegance...suits, ties, shirts, shoes and etc...it's a magazine that's totally different from other male-focused publications.

you can find it at Kinokuniya and major bookstores...

Just to echo, I've done Oxford Tailor a couple of times before, they're good, and their CRM is solid. But I've heard the prices have gone up quite a bit. Anyone gone there recently can confirm?

not sure about suits, but i get my pants tailored in three places:-

a) world trade centre (ai mei)
b) as above (ai lee)
c) AMK estate near amk hub. there is a couple of markets there, another tailor shop there. prices are abit higher compared to the other two. quality is good. hard for me to explain, but if im there, i can close my eyes and get there no problems

ai mei and ai lee is the shop name if i not mistaken you can take mrt to harbourfront, then cross opposite the WTC, there should be some hawker centre, up the end, there is a few stalls and behind that complex there used to be a bus interchange (not sure if its still there)

yes, im born and bred in perth, but come from a sg family can consider as local or foreigner up to you to decide

if i not mistaken, you can look in the yellow pages under tailor (or something similar) should be a big list for you to choose from

Oxford's very popular with the Raffles Place crowd and yeah, prices have gone up. I think they charge according to material chosen and prices of shirts are S$80-S$200....
