Pet, better remove your squid jig from the rod and store them properly man. Someone might accidentally hook themselves.

wow... yr eyes so sharp ah.... can see the jig still on... hahaa... notice i got a green rubber band there tht i secure with...

the foto kanna crop out, actually the reel is still on with line/ jig etc.. hahaa... lazy to remove it... next time go offshore, bring the whole set out

also.... my cabinet got lock... did this cabinet cos of my boy lah... always like to take my fishing rod .. i used to place them in the bathroom and top of another cabinet, small items in drawer, but my boy always open....now with lock..hahahhaa...he cannot open... the handle of the cabinet, i ask carpenter install at 6 ft high

rods & reels alot nia ... think should hv 26 rods & 22 reels. my usual pond rods and rod 7 ft & abv not in pic. 4 pond reels and 2 offshore reels in my bag/ car ..still not done yet, short of one level, must re-adjust level to put in my reels

talking abt grouper, yup...last fri saw 2 groupers, look sick swimming around the corner too....in fact, it come up to the top and rest there, ticket collector asked me how come i did not foul hook it....hehe. strange right? thou they dun allow foul hook....

they did release some gpa 2 wks ago, but hor water bad... a few gpa up last wk, most i think pengsan...

as for foul hook, if fish heathy, u wnt to foul hook aslo no way ( more diff to foul hook thn fish ) ...

those fish pengsan swim near surface, will eventually die.. so they ask u foul hook also help them clear pengsan fish...hahaa.... it's very common 1 lah... there got those net, if u wnt to go scope, also can lah.

did mr goh told u that all the fishes are hiding at the corner between the pro pond and the event pond? last friday i was there, i got all 4 barra from the same spot, corner where the air pump in between the pro and event pond.

might go down this friday to try.

like i told u earlier....50 bucks can fish for a long time for now...no time limit.

we try there b4, got groupa there b4... but fish not biting...tht area 3 - 4 mths back usually we get chor,ak, but this 1 to 2 mths usually KBL.

jst now tok to rod checker, he say today they remove the kelong near the sure catch pond... alot of base fish hiding in there all come out... Got GP also.... when he call me 2 hrs back... he say no 1 fishing but afternoon got ppl lure, up some kim.

anyway, for those other bros tht wnt to go prp.. hmm... now till not too stable...maybe wait awhile

best time to go: whn pond open (10am wkend, 12noon wkday ) to evening abt 8pm... If fish biting, maybe til abt 11pm latest.... but i dont fish during these time... hahahhaa

wnt there 1- 3am ... $50 for both of us, rod checker say can fish til morning... actually on the phone already advise us not to fish, water bad...

anyway, whn i reach there, only 1 other fisho, + two of us.. total 3... my frd got 1 bite, up 1 ... me whole nite no bie at all.

alot of fish half pengsan leow... see already also boh mood...

they say friday come in new fish... i dunno its gonna be a repeat of few wks ago or not... drain water, put in new water, put in fish, fish pengsan again ... so advise wanna to try least wait til fri onwards, cos no pt trying now, all base fish and half dying...

rod checker call me jst now, no new fish in, all base fish, water condition bad... he say if come over, TCSS can leow.

maybe friday come in new fish.

1 thing for sure, every year ard this time, prp water spoil... KNN...

dunno why main pond never get affected, it might be tht the pond is huge, deeper etc... so less sensitive to condition.

later i try to find out if they close ...

Hmmm... maybe its some seasonal outbreak in water since you have observed the trend. Maybe the regular changing of water and size does make a difference to the water conditions.

actually, the source might be the same for both pond. but if u notice, the main pond and the pro pond, the water is cut off by the sand bags near the bridge, in between the event pond and the main pond.

the main pond operator tend to change his water quite regularly, thus the water condition is better.

but the same cannot be true for the pro pond. cos if the pro pond operator want to change his water regularly, the fishes will be more lively but at a cost, cos if new salt water flow in, the fishes will tend to gather around the location and those old birds will have a bountiful catch....hehe. but mr goh tend to let in water slowly only.

having said that....anyone going this friday nite?

Oic... Personally, i would think that it is better to keep the catch rate consistent so that anglers will still visit the place. Guess you rather earn less than nothing at all, esp since the rental is not going to be cheap either.

Friday happens to be the launch of the Apple iphone and there is a rumored midnight sale so i might be there instead. Hehe
