he was also suggesting bali... but he wanna go poping ... NNB, tell me Pe8-10 pop rod, i no hv... anyway, see wht he come up with...equip required, pe8-10 7 to 8' pop rod, spin reel 8000 - 10,000 reel should be ok, 80lb line ... if jig, need min 300g to 500g, maybe even more. ... WOW lau... i think i outta for tht, si bei siong..

Paiseh, i was up at KL over this weekend. My friend went up to pick up his Ball watch so i tag along to do some retail therapy.

Aug is left with 15/16 and 22/23 weekend. Sep is still free except 19/20 weekend, will be up at BKK. Can't wait for the next romppi trip...

This is the worst catch in 6 visits still pretty good catch. Only 1/2 grouper above 10kg, 1 red emperor around 6-7 kg. No Amber Jacks, Mackerel, Mangrove Jack, Giant Snapper and Emperor.

Red Chicken/Merah and Big Grouper caught off Tg Berakit, 20km away from Hosburgh.

Big Mangrove Jack and lots of fish caught in Sabah. This is not our best catch. 3rd/4th best. Make sure have electric reel, otherwise very siong. 150 metres deep.

Yah.. tot tat time Vandyk say he can take Monday leave then we say most prob find a sunday go in, fish on Monday morning then monday nite return... Actually.. 19-20 July looks good.. but dunno got boat anot, whether pet n Vandyk can make it anot..

pet, if its a trip over the wkend, taking leave on either friday or monday than i'm ok. 1 day leave can sort out, anything more than i have problem.

tue morning up then tue evening back OR morning nite up then tue evening back?

will give mersing a miss, rom is more interesting. plus will bring along my underwater camera setup for the next trip, will prob jump into the water for a shot of you with the sail.

Yah hor... take it as 24 hours at sea...

60/24 = 2.5 Sotong per hour

Wah... Pet stamina good sia... arm muz be v strong...

BUT ... alot of f-ing sotong ... hehehee... late afternoon, see bait kanna munch up, so try sotong jig... NNB, down only hook up leow ... almost LJLJ all the way to midnight... i catch until sian... give up...lost count, but must hv at least 60 pcs .. next day hand ache ... hmmm
