You should report to the police, at least to scare him so that he won't do it again. I know there are too many such scam ppl in singapore. After the deal is done, they simply ignored it. To be honest, I have been fooled once when I was buying something from a seller. After deal was closed, and I found out something was not right, I was not even able to find him. I had plans to report to police though it's merely tens of dollars. But the police told me it's useless, as there is no proof nor any substantial things to catch him. So I gave it in the end. But for your case, $1700 is not a small sum. You ought to do something! I really hate such dishonest ppl who cheat others for being honest and true!

I never say will hold or not as I am no Judge of anykind. But never under estimate what has been written in black and white here + a good lawyer. Its best that you send the watch to U-Boat HQ to verify its authenticity and get it certified.

There will be fees involved and i understand its not cheap either. But as mention Chris has took pictures of the watch and will send to U Boat rught hand woman. So now just has to wait for his call. And yes it might take even months fo her to reply...
