    hi guys,

anyone here know much about windows X64?

i may be getting a 2nd hand computer that will need to run 64bit, and just wondering whether i can run it properly or not.

also what are the chances that the hardware is compatable with the OS.

          i think hdd about 100gb.

i plan to salvage this computer and "tong" (carry on using) for another 2yrs. so dont want to spend too much $$$ on it. also if good, i can convert to home theatre PC.

100GB for windows is nothing these days. however, if u use it for a linux machine. it is still ok.

because if u were to buy a graphics card, probably about 50 bucks. another hdd which is about another 100. then still got to buy ram about 100-200. all in about 300-400. im sure if u go to uni, there are many for sale pc @ those prices already and is complete. try the business school. usually got more ads for sale.
