  • What inspired you to buy your rolex?

    Hi,

New to this forum and recently just brought my first rolex watch. Let's share why we buy our rolex watches shall we?

I was inspired to buy rolex watches when i was 16yo. But never got the chance until now. My reason for buying is because i liked the DJ series and i love bling bling stuffs. I often see businessman with a rolex and find that it suits the image completely.

Being a businessman now, i felt that the DJ series rolex just fits me perfectly although i would prefer a rolex with diamond markers and bezel.
    Me

    116713 TT GMT Master II

    16610LV Sub LV

    Me Bitach

    179174 Ladies DJ MOP

What i say is purely from the heart. No discrimination, No offence, just pure BS.

It all started 2 yrs ago...when I was 14. I got my hands on the Rolex that was collecting dust in my mum's drawer. The moment I put it on my hands..I loved it. Back then I didn't know much about Rolex, but I was amazed that a watch could last that long.

I took over the watch not long after,I went on to buy my first rolex which is the exp II exactly 1 year back. I had to sell off after 6 months unfortunately. After that, in June last year we(founding members of SG-ROC) started this forum...and I guess there's no turning back for me. The love for Rolex...I guess it won't end.

Personally I also love the DJ,at first I only liked this model. The sports models didn't catch my eyes until I think ard a 1 n half year ago...I opened up to more models. Haha wasn't a really gd thing for my wallet though

i guess I started early with a old DJ (6694), wore it to school, work, etc. Mom wasnt too impressed, dad didnt mind, infact poisoned me into this dangerious hobby. Took off from there, recently "upgraded" to a TT DJ diamond markers, recently opened up to sport models, and that is not good for my wallet.

ROLEX has been an ultimate aim for a watch. Tot I cld never own one until recently. Read up quite a bit, nt jus on ROLEX, but on othr watches too. So, made a quick decision, and WA LA.. Bought one..
