3/4 of my watches were bought brand new with the 4th bought from a friend who purchased new.
Second hand is great as long as a reputable dealer.

Have owned brand new from AD. At first felt shiok unwrapping and wearing. After a while feel so heart pain seeing the scratches even with the plastic stickers on. Felt even more heart pain seeing the price of second hand pieces on sale on forum and shops.

I think it very much depends on each individual. Some prefers brand new as he/she will be 1st owner. Some don't mind pre-owned but in good cindition watch as it save certain amt of money.

Of course brand new but at the same if the pre-owned piece is in good condition and from a reputable seller i wouldn't mind anyways

See which one is more worth the price and which one lose so much money .. so got to study more and dont buy in a poisoned condition.

New only purchase through Rolex AD as too many fakes frauds and scammers out there plus with used never know what your going to end up with .
Far less headaches stick with new purchased from AD

For popular models, pre-owned Rolex might be more expensive than the brand new ones from Europe, especially Italy. Prices for Rolex in Hong Kong are very good too.
