SAF hokkien trained. last time knnbccb = " keke.
Cantonese drama trained.
Teochew family trained.
Japanese Anime trained.
Traditional chinese font, Gu Long/Jin Yong trained.

Now mainly use chinese and english only.
In time will speak like China...

Peranakan..speaks a creole of Malay and Penang Hokkien at home.

Grew up in an Cantonese majority town with a large population of Hakkas. So I speak Cantonese fluently too and understands Hakka.

Went to a boy's school, so I am more comfortable with English and can't speak Mandarin nor read Chinese.

I went to Taiwan recently and spoken to the cab drivers in hokkien..hahaha..they were wondering why I can speak Tai Yu..

My gf speaks to her friends in penang hokkien and those taiwan uncles dun understand..hahaha

both my parent and inlaws are Teochew.

So my wife is teochew as well. My 2.5 yrs old son speaks teochew at home with the old folks as we think that alot of us are using it lesser and lesser these days.
