Somebody in this forum previously posted what is that one watch that defines a brand.

I was just wondering if there is a watch brand that tops all watch brands.

My take....?

It's Rolex for me!
The ah beng, bookie, yuppies....all can pronounce it.

Close your eyes...you can prolly sketch out the logo.

I can't seem to pronounce brands like Hublot, AP...even Panerai.

Any thoughts on the above?

I'm referring to

1) watch's local brand presence and
2) brand recognition

i have to say it is own personal preference.

however, as mentioned to many people, rolex is probably the only brand i know that caters to men, women, young, old, all sorts of occupation.....

as they say, 大小通吃

I think if you go to wikipedia, there will be 'how to pronounce' of that brand. something like
"Audemars Piguet (AP) (French pronunciation: [o.də.maʁ pi.gɛ]) is a manufacturer of prestige Swiss watches which compete with Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin."
