actually quite difficult to compare apple to apple...but i believe it is cheaper in europe especially UK VAT is 20%!!! but I have no chance to really physicaly compare (especially knowing about series....year of manufactured.)..I will try to ask when back in SG my newly bought datejust 31...

just back from europe. their effective VAT for watches in Switzerland is only around 5% and if you are paying some part using cash, they will give another 3%.

i went to spain last August..and bought a tag..
retail price is about 15% cheaper and vat return is 18%
you can ask the seller 1st, some shop have less vat return, especially for branded boutique.(i.e : gucci outlet only give 10% for vat return but you can get 18% if you buy in dept store)

The prices for the SS in Switzerland compared with the rest of Europe is a little bit more expensive. These tend not to be discounted at all anywhere in Europe .If there are any discounts its usually for their regular customers and also a smaller %.

However with the TT models especially like a Daytona TT GMT master 10% discount can easily be obtained for walk in customers at just about every AD in the continent and also the VAT back. The Swiss tend to hold firm on their pricing for just about all models and do not really negotiate at all.

RRP. VAT is only around 5-6%.
you may wish to pay some case to get further discount.
