Reminds me of this phrase in a movie: 酒肉穿肠过,佛祖心中留 (While the wines and meats flow through my intestines, the Buddha remains in my heart)

Mere excuse from ordinary men (俗人), haha.

Actually it need not be a $35k watch.

But as long as you can wear your most prized watch as a daily beater, you hv acheived zen....

So dont go up mountain ok.

No need, you just need to be able to wear a $35k watch to do your daily household chores without fretting. Heh

Cars and watches are really different leagues of wants. For a car like Panamera or granturismo we talking about losing a Nautilus every year.
Sometimes to avoid burning serious money, get a nice Patek to pamper oneself for a quick fix is not a bad idea.

Got a wifey already - heck it, get That Watch!!!
Watch and car are to reward ourselves. Why bother impressing others.

BTW, with a wife, might not be able to get either car nor watch

Why don't I help both of you (Cuaba & pegasi) to attain enlightenment. Cuaba give me your watches and pegasi give me your money.
