Not really highend, running on 4 x steg amp K2/02 but these amp are just not good enough. Was thinking of Sinfoni, any comment on Sifoni ?

Bro, IMHO, the sinfoni amps is just too overprice ! Sound quality ok , but i won't pay that kind of $ for their low to mid end amp, I've audit their top of the range amp , call the Desirado or something like that match with Micro P Z series limited , the sound is indeed nice ! But 1 piece of that 2 channel amp set you back around 22k , you need 4 amps to run full active
For that amount of $ spent , i suggest you look at other option !
Luxman is 1 very warm and sweet amp ,price range still acceptable !
The above is just my personal opinion !

Last time my 2001 E200ML also running fiber-optic , but i manage to get my installer remove everything and change my whole setup !Hehe...
Some prefer home audio some car audio , but i must admit , for the same amount of money spent in car and home , home audio wins !
Too bad , don't really have time to enjoy music at home !

Friday evenings and weekend are really difficult for me cos of my 2yr old and my 2 mth old... Let me tttrrrryyyy to get off pass from CO for Friday evening..

One of those things that I have plenty of opportunity to do is go listen to all sorts of systems 1k to 400k (most expensive I've heard). And trust me, expensive doesn't mean it sounds good. Anyway...recently... one system that blew me away as a very simple setup.

- Macbook Pro
- DAC (connected via USB)
- Active Monitor (near field type via XLR)

Gosh... that system just blew me far.. farrrr... away. OK. Given total system cost (excluding the Macbook) is about 6k. But gosh... it was breath-taking. Close to tears in your eyes. As compared to some mega-system, that was so much more enchanting...

So that's a prime example of how it does not have to take a lot of money to do things right.

As for car... my bloody car runs fiber-optic throughout and thus changing amps, etc will affect the electronics. So couldn't do much even if I wanted to...

OOH!!! Its the shop that is on the 1st floor.. my office is on the 3rd floor. See alot of ppl go there for installations... Are they good? How are their prices? Ex? I am driving a WISH so when I went to my ICE installer, I was adviced unless I really pump in $$$, the sound will be hollow.. it will also be at the expense of FC due to sound proofing... so..

Yes its that shop with a black signboard, Price wise you can go compare a few better ICE installer around than you decided , its like buying watch
IMHO , you spent 2-3 k , you will get at least 100% better sound than your stock system !
For my case , the amount i spent can get me a new WG daydateII with diamonds + abit of spare change .
But i treat it as a investment , which can be carry from 1 car to my next car !
And i really can't stand the sound from my stock system .
After i done up my ICE , i really enjoy driving more than b4 , even when i'm caught in a jam . I can chose who's concert to listen to whenever i feel like it . At least it gave me that kind of "LIVE" concert feeling .
Afterall , my car is the only little space i have, to enjoy music without much disturbance.
