Personally I love the dark kind,especially m'sian kind But very hard to find nice 1s in s'pore and to my taste.

The only 1 I found nice was at Hong Lim there.

singapore bak kut teh standard has dropped over the years, heng heng bak kut teh at owen road was good last time, tried again yesterday and i can say i will never go back again

i recommend the "founder" ba ku teh at balestier, just opp the shaw cinema

clear soup type, peppery. but quite ex

waiting time can be quite long during peak period, got a lot of pictures of stars, vip, mp on the wall

I've had Founder's over the past years, the standard has dropped. There's a small coffee shop further down Balestier Road, next to Boon Tong Kee. Its BKT is better than Founder's IMHO. Try it.
