prefers the one in hong kong, the prawn dumpling skin has a shiny and non sticky feel compared here.

It's quite good but not better than a lot of other dim sum places around Singapore. Not worth queueing more than 15 mins.

I feel THW is kinda overrated.
I recently even visited the one at Sham Shui Po in HKG, but only average.
Money could be better spent elsewhere... just my 2 cents worth..
It may whet ur palate : P

Agree on the queue. Sometimes not worth the wait as can be very long. But since THW has been in Singapore for a while now and with various outlet in major malls, queue are quite reasonable..Originally posted by almerickso View PostOnly some dishes are as good as in HK. The rest that require more skill than recipe are a bit of a let down.
I would still drop by a THW in Singapore if there was no queue just to have a pork bun and radish cake.

THW standard between outlets quite similar.
Its a Michelin Star Restaurant, so the consistency should be there.
First few trips will be definitely yum yum..
The more you go, the yum yum factor decrease..
My thoughts....
