Does anyone know if second hand watches such as rolex and omega are cheaper in HK or SG?

My budget is around 2-3k and am looking for a good 2nd hand rolex or omega.

Advise, anyone?

Actually Hk is cheaper coz of the tax free policy but right now the currency too high, end up become not much different

HK is cheaper especially if buying from Europe etc.. ship to a contact in Europe and handcarry back to SG. Saves a lot on GST.

Yes, as described in prev threads, it is in fact cheaper in hk due to tax free policy and they are more willing to give additional 5-10 % discounts depending brands and makes for regular customers (yes, u probably need to have one to bring you there). I bought a sub from HK and at then, it was 10% cheaper as compared to SG (sg currency was abt 1:6 then).

you have to shop around, I seen a lot in hk..their rolex suppiers is a lots ...first thing first you need to do your own home work..model,year, prices...

where did u hear from? imho, it can happen anywhere. as long as the shop knows you're a tourist and if you look like you don't know your stuff, you're a sitting duck.
