I'm no Ball fan but feel that Ball is a much better option, as compared to what you were eyeing on earlier on. I prefer the Fireman more. Very nice illum

The Alligator is sold out as it was a 2006 model whereas the ionsphere is a 2007 model .

IMHO
For watches it's what you like and not what's popular to decide .
And models you like now may not appeal to you 5 to 10 years down the road .
And when your knowledge into watches deepen,
You may be craving for different models .
