when i saw the price tag, i also almost fainted. it's at the building opposite burlington square. dunno name but inside got lots of seiko and citizen models too. btw, i havn't ask for discount yet but confirm ask for 800 and below.

as for the orange model, think it's also 1k.

            A recent acquisition. >>>

An automatic chronograph from early 1970s - the Seiko 6139-6005. Almost like an NOS.

very nice watch. but as you said, the price is a bit too steep for a Seiko.

I use a Citizen ECO drive as a daily beater.. kekeke
Pretty like it when I first got it.. it was like LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT when I was hunting for a nice daily beater.. the good thing is that I never need to put a battery / service it while I get the protection of a sapphire crystal for my rugged use in the warehouse...

Have a few Seikos. Good reliable watch I must say. Recently bought a Seiko Bullhead (aka micky mouse) produced in 1970s - http://www.larrybiggs.net/scwf/index...&id=1136574191.

Am also looking for this Citizen http://www.skywatches.com.sg/watches...oducts_id=1259. Was told not avail in SG. Anyone came across?

Currently, wearing this watch for daily use.

The unique thing is that it has the alarm chime which will tell the actual time.

I was attracted by the design as well as its dial...

Nice.. I just realise that Citizen actually have a Minute Repeater.. A DAMN CHEAP OPTION to the upmarket ones I can't afford.

The BL9000-32A that ranchu8888 uses is priced at SGD840 (list price) The stainless steel version is SGD900 list.

                              Bro Lexicon,
regarding the piece you mentioned, AP1001 01L, I manage to find a design almost similar to that on Singapore Citizen website : http://www.citizen.com.sg/html/eco-gen.htm
But the model closest to it is AP1001-19E which looks similar to me.. its list price is S$490.00

                              Bro Oceanklassik,
Mine is merely S$460 list lah... U can use the same link and search for my model number...

Acutally, do you guys know where sells the CHEAPEST Citizen in Singapore???
