Am surprised Seiko 5 is considered not a 'real' seiko. I had a Seiko 5 FM, the chunky one, and it ran on a 7s36 movement. Tough tough watch with day date..screw in crown. Haha but I still sold it cos it's bright yellow dial was out of place..could have gotten the black or blue dial.

Seiko 5 was my very first mechanical watch. I would say it was a good entry model. Haha the one I had was the "poor man's seiko"

Same!! I got a snzf17k1 as my 1st mechanical watch. Then the itch continued with snk809k2. Haha! Couldnt help it with that military look..

Anyways, u guys hv any idea how n why both the crystals experiences condensation on the underside? Is this a norm for seiko 5s?
How to clear n prevent future condensation?

          Thx guys.

Moist seeped in I guess. Can get it cleaned up and sealed properly at watch shops. I'd seen my friends sent some of their watches to a watch shop at Square 2 (Novena Square) to do that and the costs seemed reasonable. Clean job done too.
