dont quite like the crown, look too common
unlike the signature radiomir and luminor crowns - one look is panerai

Tried it. Don't really like it. Basically a 1950 case minus the crown guard and locking device. I agree the screw down crown looks normal. They shoulda stuck with the diamond crown. Basically the asme case as the 372, 422 and 423. I'm not sold.

I never like the 1940 design. Always prefer the luminor lever trademark that makes panerai a panerai.
514 just another panerai with a tiny crown like all other brands. The price makes the watch even worst.

Tried the 514. A nice watch itself. But not panerai enough.
And it's on spring bars.
