In house P9000 time adjusting

Hi,some question to ask sgroc sifu n expert about calibre P9000 .
When i go bangkok time early 1 hour,is itpossible to adjust d hour hand backward once?will it spoil d machanism?

No it wont. It's similar to the rilex caibre 3187.

The Calibre p9000 has a quick hour setting, the same as Rolex 3186/7 or Omega 8500.

These movements were made in a way where the wearer can conveniently change the time zone via adjusting just the hour hand without stopping the accuracy of the minute and second hands. So changing the hour hand forward or backward does not harm the movement.

I sure am no expert with p9000 movement as most of my Pams are all ETA movement but I don't think it's an issue moving forward and backward the hour hand thus changing the dates and by right it should be that way cause if you are going to a different time zone with different dates, by advancing your hour hand to the destination time, it should advance the date as well if the time difference is pass midnight same as if your current time is after midnight but your destination time haven't pass midnight yet, the date should move backwards as well.

It's similar to the rolex 3187, which can also adjust date backwards . No issue.

Logically, this movement capability negates this problem as the quick aet function.
