White dial Panerai

White dial Pam seems not very popular at all.

Is there a reason why?

Because the white will turn yellow? Not easy to match (skin color/dressing) ? or just a color that most do not like?

I do not think it is the brand per se. Rather, it is the colour - white. White dial watches tend to be less popular, and much more (less popular) with Asians. For superstitious reasons; (less) aesthetics reason? I am not sure. But I am not too picky about it personally. I prefer to have my watches in variation of colours; colours that I fancy.

While white Pams may not be as well received as their black counterparts, mine definitely gets it's fair share of wrist time. Love how the black indexes contrast with the white face.

Same reason as white daytona.

I love the looks of a Rolex 16523 Daytona but hate the look of most, if not all, white Panerai dials. But then my husband owns 4 black Pam dials and they are nothing but sexy...

Hmmmmmm.......... I love to own a PAM 88 with white dial but seems impossible to get it.

Or is that a different model number?

I do not think there's a white dial version of the PAM00088. The 'sister' model, which is the bracelet version of the PAM00088 is the PAM00297. The 'cousin' version is the PAM00244, which is slightly smaller at 40mm, in leather strap. None, unfortunately, is white.
