  • winding up historic PAMs

Hi guys...... I'm new to Panerais......
was told by AD (hour glass) to wind my new PAM 111 everyday for 15 sec......
    is that true?
I searched my manual, but it doesnt say anything......
How do I know I've wound enough? Will I overwind it if I keep going?

That's really new to me. Could you have heard wrongly?

Just keep winding but gently until it's tight.

      Bro,

You don't have to wind it for 15 sec. Just wind till you cannot turn the crown or turn 40 full rounds every day will do.

      Cheers

Your AD is merely asking you to wind the watch everyday. 15 seconds rule is not necessary ba..
        I own a Rolex !

If the "next time" you wear it is one year later, then not ok.

Expert (not me) recommend to at least wind a mechanical watch once every 3 months.

              Hi guys,

Just like to check does the seconds hand stop when the crown is being pulled out for time adjustment? I owned a 177.

              Thanks

I've googled and found my answer. It's normal cuz the movement is non-hacking. Guess gotta let the watch wound down so to set the time to the accurate seconds.
