No verification service from Panerai; how to verify when purchasing preowned online?

Hi all, I am shopping to get a Pre-owned pam either thru here or online. And read from here that panerai does not do verification anymore. If that is the case, how to check for authencity when buying preowned ?

my first advise is to only purchase from reputable sellers and dealers.

avoid watches that are incomplete, meaning no box, no watch certificate, no movement sticker, no COSC cert etc.

if in doubt you can verify the watch from shop like JW.

For a newbie, try not to buy online unless you are dealing with a reputated reseller. In the Olympic, even birth cert can be fake. oh man...now i know why they got so many gold medals.

-If the deal is too good to be true, then it probably is.
-Safer to buy Pams that have in-house movement
