is there anyway for the T dial to glow again? mine not glowing

as far as i understand from RSC, there is no way to relume the T dial markers. however, if you want the lume, they will suggest that you change the dial to the current one dial with words swiss made instead.
the reason why T-dial is 'discontinued' because of its radioactive content.
my explorer II T<25 dial does not glow but its hands does. why is this so? the last service in RSC, the technician scratched the hands. no choice but to replaced because the scratches are pretty visible to the naked eye.

what i don't understand is both my watch is A series, one super happy glowing, other doesn't
