What exactly is a Chapter Ring?

Crown on Chapter Ring is off!

Hi all, the crown on my Sub LV's chapter ring is slightly (i mean slightly) off to the left. I mean the 12 marker should be exactly at the middle or middle matchstick of the crown right, but mine isn't.

Haha is this normal?

I assume you meant what do they refer to in a watch, rather, what the difference is, because both are separate features. You can actually do a search in the forum as they've been discussed. But anyway, here's to help:

The chapter ring refers to the inner, circular wall of the watch and the newer ROLEX watch models have engraving of "ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX ... " on it. This is a new security feature against fraud.

The pin holes refer to the joint between the watch strap/bracelet and the watch itself, and is visible in older models. It is the "connector" and aids strap/bracelet changing.
