Dear Bros, many thanks to all who have shared their thoughts and experiences.

A further extension to my initial question will be: Did anybody who did/had sent their watch to RSC asked the customer service officer what parts/items will be checked/verified?

Cheerios and Have a happy and huating 2014 year!

    Where is the like button?

it is not possible for a $107 RSC verification to "make sure all parts are genuine" nor do they have a world wide database of stolen watches, only a local one (unless it is a historically important/rare piece).
Yup only local stolen pieces that's reported to police should be able to track.

They will make sure all parts are genuine and will recommend you to do a servicing or overhaul, lastly they will know if your watch is a stolen piece which has been reported. If it happens they will hold the watch and call the police.

No they don't tally s/n with your cert.

I don't think they verify movement number, there isn't anywhere that states your movement number to match your watch s/n to my knowledge.

Apart from verifying all parts are authentic, will they tally the serial numbers from certificates as well?

    U r right ..I was exaggerating abit
they may visual check some of the parts but I am certain not all of the parts
verification used to take less than 1hr at rolex center
doubt they can 100% verify every parts within an hour

at the very least they check everything on the outside and they also inspect the movement visually after the case back comes off.

    RSC Authentication

Hi Peeps, just a general question: Does anybody know what are the exact parts that RSC verify during watch authentication? Just could not find much from existing threads/posts, could have missed it too.

    Thanks a million!

Ok, Point noted for "*seller won't do collection until buyer present, verbal explanation given by the receptionist."
