i just bought a brand-new DSSD from Tokyo last week. here's some info i gathered as part of my research that may be useful for ppl who are planning to get one.Originally posted by Spike123 View PostJust Checked with an AD in milan, price for DSSD is 9100 euro after tax refund.
AD price in SG - SG$15,780
Standard discount from SG AD - 10% off
AD price in Japan ~ SG$12K+
Standard discount from Japan AD - None. They don't give any.
I got my DSSD from a established grey market dealer in Tokyo for ~ SG$10,700, which is more than 30% off from SG AD list price. This is inclusive of 5% tax rebate and cash payment.

not sure about the sub lv or batman but quoted price for daytona black ss (without bargaining) seems in line with shops in the town.Originally posted by swlim22 View PostRws ad mark up prices of popular models like the black Daytona lv sub and batman. It's a good place to try on those watches though becos sure have stocks. Don't think most informed pple will pay those prices.elusive

I have never bought watches at airport before but there's definitely -7% GST. But this being a Rolex boutique, I'm not sure if they give any discount off the selling price.Originally posted by adrian01 View PostCan the experts here verify this?
1. Buying from Airport is cheaper - retail disc plus 7% GST waived
2. Do they carry Rolex at Airport? I don't seem to be able to find any retailer from the Rolex website.
Thanks!

there's no simple answer for your question. it all depends on which model you're looking at. average models may have a 10% discount, popular models may have zero discount to even above retail pricing. for hot models like the current 116710BLNR, i heard you can't even get it without being on a wait-list due to stock availability.Originally posted by cranthir View PostHI which AD give the best discount?
