  • Purchase from a local AD

    Hi Guys,

Im a newbie, recently bought my first rolex - a DJ TOG and a DJ for my gf. It was from a major local AD. The info provided here was invaluable when i was doing research.

I have a question tho, the waches did not come with certificates and i was told nowadays its all electronic, no more papers. Also on the receipt my purchase was described as "Watches", this is because the price i paid was lower than what they were suppose to be selling.

Just wanna know if this is actually correct.

    Many thanks !!

No papers, but you should get a warranty card....

the watches these days come with credit card style warranty card. there is no electronic as far as im concern. unless it is within 3 weeks rolex has changed their procedures.

i got a feeling i know where u bought your watches from. how do you know the prices u paid is lower than that of other dealer.

got.. got the green credit card size warranty like Triton mentioned. But was concerend about certificates that i was told no longer being issued?

I shopped around and this dealer (spot on Triton!) gave me the most discount off the reatil price, so I bought from them.

So it seems im good, except the description on the receipt? any advise?
