  • Position of Watch when not on wrist

    Hi guys,

been wondering which position would you all rest your rollies when they are not worn on your wrist? Any advise? Currently I lay mine face up, no watch winder at the moment as I've only got a single rollie.

    some say crown up
    some say crown down
    some say dial up
    some say dial down

according to rolex, different positions when rest will 'alter' the accuracy of watch.

Thanks triton, this is a useful info especially for me, as I like to keep the time as accurate as possible and on all my watches, clocks and the digital clocks on the radio in my car, on my laptop and my on hand phone.

The movement inside Rolex is adjusted to 5 positions, it should retain accuracy no matter which way it rests.

I rest mine face up also inside my watch box.

what does the "adjusted to 5 positions" actually mean?

i.e. face up, face down, etc?
