  • is it RSC fault???

Sharing this around from Timezone: http://forums.timezone.com/index.php...rt=0&rid=34186

People in Taiwan and Hong Kong recently are shocked to notice that RSC hand-engraved the serial no. on the bracelets of their Rolex watches sent in for servicing. RSC explained that they do so to avoid mixing up the bracelets with the watches as they have to take them off. RSC finally agrees to polish out the numbers on it.

Just wonder if RSC in other countries do the same.

it could be possible considering that there is a probability that there is staff shortage and them having a date line to finish 'repairing' the watch and hence the technician handles more than 1 watch simultaneously.

anyway i will read the news with an open mind. this is because we do not know if it is truly done by RSC (any countries mentioned or not). or could it be a fake rolex?

i have sent in my rolex for service and never once had encountered such a problem. maybe im lucky?

the technicians might be practising their engraving skills.

                          Maybe..

... they are being paranoid and keeping track of the bracelets matched to cases because there are instances of bracelets are being swopped around?

in any case, it's so wrong! would be peeved if it were my watch

                          regards,

is it that hard to have a roll of scotch tape and paper, tape the paper with details, and clean off the residue later?
