Actually that device is called osim osonic. I used that to clean gold and jewellery. Works very good. I tried a SS casio watch and the result is pleasing but question is im worry if it will spoil the mechanism in a rollies. :P

that is the last thing you want to do. drop a mechnical watch in and risk fouling the hairspring. if the frequency is strong enough and the parts resonate, expect something to break. also, remember that the pivot of some parts are only 0.05mm thick...... ot thin

And please note that brushing too hard will cause a bit of light scratches on the bracelet when viewed at certain angles. (even for brushed bracelets). I learnt it the hard way .

Sorry but do you have any weblinks on the net to back up your statements. I searched and searched and cannot find anything negative about using an ultrasonic cleaner on a watch only positive posts. Of course most were from sellers of this brand or that brand of ultra sonic cleaner but it would be interesting to see where it is pointed out directly to not use one.

I'm also interested to find out , but over all these years of cleaning my watch with ultrasonic , my watch is still working fine , maybe i'm lucky.
