  • Which Rolex models to you are collectibles?

Hi I would like to know which Rolex models are in your opinion collectibles?

By collectible, I dont mean just because you like a certain model it is a collectible, I mean you must give reasons for it.

E.g The first Rolex Day Date was released in 1956 so I think that is a collectible if I can ever find one.

another e.g the 50th Anniversary Green Sub , those green subs made and released in 2003 "Y" series and first few batches of "F" series are in my opinion considered collectibles.

so please let me hear your opinions on, we don't just wear rollies here, collectibles is a subject relevant to collectors.

any model that has extreme low production number will be collectible.

any models that are more than 30 years old with full box and papers are considered collectible.

however, say F series sub lv is not considered collectible. honestly, how many of us will look for these. why? look @ the 3186 16710 which is probably the last of the last series. it was trading close to 9k however there dont seem to be much interest locally now.

          Very true.
If I keep a sub LV for 30 years in mint condition with full box and papers, I think they will be very collectible
