          hehe.. anyone has any official source? I heard the GMTII with 3186.. only as few as 200 pieces made.. anyway to verify???

            good thread

            this is a very good thread with all the hype on the gmt-11. personally, not more than SGD8k. anything, i may as well get a ceramic or sub lv.

                13K for a GMT Master II 16710?? With that $, there are a lot of better options available. Lets faced it, the last batches of 16710 with the 3186 movement is a nice acquisition and may rise in value in the years to come, but sellers demanding almost 5K over its last known retail price is simply a case of "sellers drumming up demand" ploy. Its' rarity may also not necessarily lead to higher potential value because the determinant of prices is always demand. As much as I would love to have such a 16710 & would even probably consider trading my only SD to attain it, I'm afraid I would not cross the sensible price threshold of SGD8K and break the bank just to follow the hype. juz my opinion.

                    imo the watches worth keeping are SD and GMTII, SS daytona as usual demand still strong.
