Some opinions on the rolex submariner ( last batch)

Dear all bros,

Pls kindly give me an opinion on this...

I was wondering is it worthwhile to buy this rolex submariner 2009 date --last batch with old bezel but with the internal ring engrave with the rolex wordings @ about $7000.

is it a good deal as oppose to buying say a 2005/2006 model @ $6100- $6300??

pls kindly share your opinions....

last batch?wat series? M,V,G or alpha numeric?I assume 2009 should be V series.

2009 is not exactly the last batch with the old bezel. 2010 also have.

But I dun see a point paying more for the 2009 piece.

I would rather save that few bucks

I am not too sure of the series as i did not enquire more. Its just that i was comparing the 2005/2006 model without the internal Rolex engraving as compare to this 2009 with the engraving.

Accordingly to the salesman, he was telling me that this is the so call limited production piece before the new bezel comes out as thus willhave a better value??? wondering is it true.

depends on condition,full set or not and etc.u might wanna go to our own garage to have a look and gauge from there.

The best way i can suggest is to compare apple to apple, if possible. Same model, same series and condition of the watch would constitute a rough 10-20% of the px too. So if you are in the market for a sub, say series Z, you will probably need to do some homework to compare either the same series, if not +-1 year just to get a certain gauge for yourself. This is the other best part of it, the main part is of course after you acquire what your research had led to, the watch!!
